New Jersey Engagement Photos

New Jersey engagement photos are fun to plan as there are so many beautiful locations. Whether you’re looking for a beautiful park, beach, urban vibe or even waterfalls, this state of New Jersey has it all :).

This adorable couple was supposed to be in New Orleans for a special birthday. However, since traveling is a little complicated right now they decided to stay local and enjoy a shoot instead. All these portraits were taken within a block radius around the beautiful town of Montclair ❤️. A great mix of color, murals, urban and floral park vibes as well!

Despite this challenging time not only taking photos but guiding, posing etc. is still possible with all the necessary safety precautions. I as well as my clients were wearing masks the whole time. Travel side Purell also tucked away in my pocket. My clients would only temporarily tuck the masks away when it came to taking the photos. In addition, I used a long zoom lens (70-200) to capture the images so that I was at least 10′ feet away. I’m not able to adjust hair, fabric etc. myself however, I was able to direct and ensure nothing was still compromised.

Although this is a challenging time for all, lifetime events can still be celebrated with e.g. a portrait session :). For any questions feel free to contact me as all zoom consultations are completely complimentary!
